Hi All,
New to all this forum stuff but havin read some great threads I feel i'm in safe hands !! yr a friendly bunch and full of knowledge....so my question... I have to replace the rear discs and pads for MOT, have bought original Renault with ABS ring and bearings, I am prepping my 172 for sprints/hill climbs etc so being thorough I have the calipers on the bench, fully cleaned up and ready to go back on, however I have noted that with the new pads in there is only a 5mm gap between them, new discs I guess are 10mm, I have had the caliper in the vice and gently pushed the piston back in as far as it goes, and it won't go back any more so what am i missing ??? as i know i have the right parts:S
