Scott, check the connections on your rear lights. When they start to rust the contacts on the metal pieces that go into the circuits there can have problems.
Just get a small file in order to clear it up, then try and cover where the wire goes to the circuit board with duck tape or something similar.
yep. give all the pins on the clusters a tweak too.
the earth terminal suffers the worst from corrosion, the resulting lack of earth to the clusters mean the light you are trying to operate (the reverse lights) try to earth themself through the closest bulbs live (the fog)
this is what powers the whole circuit up.
