Rear disc question

When changing the rear discs on a ph1 172, do the new discs have to have a new bearing in them?

On my old valver the bearing was part of the disc, not sure what the setup on the 172 is though.

If they are indeed part of the disc, is it easy enough to reuse the old bearing/abs ring from the previous discs or does that require a press?

Cheers
Tom

The 172 discs have a bearing pressed into them, the discs can be had from GSF etc without the bearing pressed in them IIRC for a little cheaper, but it's really worth buying the OEM units from your local dealership as they have come down in price to just over £100 for a pair, cracking price really for what you get.

The non original rear brake discs/bearing always seem to wear the bearings quickly probably due to them being cheaply pressed etc.
