'Rear fog lamp tell tale not working'

First part of my MOT fail.

I think it means the b*stard light doesn't turn on in the dashboard. Sounds lke a real p.i.t.a. for an indication I'll probably never even look at.

Will the dash need to come off or could it be as simple as a fuse or something?

The offside rear fog lamp also failed. Could it be that the tell tale lamp doesn't work because of this, or is that just wishful thinking?

Check the fuse first. If that's ok check the foglight bulb and replace if necessary. After that, check that the tell-tale light on the dash works. If not, then you might need to whip out the dash and replace the tiny bulb in there.
