Rear Light Bulb Holder/Connector loom

Any idea how much these cost new from the stealers?

(Don't say ring them because it's bank holiday and they arn't open)


Also has anyone had this problem (goes a little further than the 'clean the connectors' although they are at fault).


Brake Pedal = Foglight on the dash, all indicators come on static, 3rd brake light lit, rear sidelights off, dash clicks as if the indicator flashed once.

Indicators = Opposite side indicates faintly, all brake lights flash in sync, foglight on the dash.

Reverse = Indicators on static, foglight on dash, clicks same as brake pedal.

Window Switches = Dim the headlights ever so slightly

May be unrelated but the key will not lock the car and has been intermittent (may be the battery).

sounds like a dodgy earth to me.

have you used any for something else in the car?

You fitted different rear lights or something (noticed the LED'd clio)? My old clio did something similar after I fitted atermarket lights - had to re-wire them.

I have removed all the led's etc. The only thing left is EL dials. When i remove both clusters however problem is sorted for the rest of the car.

Oh and the tail and headlights are oem with standard halogen bulbs.

It was the connectors at fault so I robbed* a 172 and cut them off and rewired onto my car.
