Rear Light Replacement/Electrical fault, please help!

I bought me new clio a couple of weeks back, and noticed that there was a crack in the rear passenger light and it was filled with water, i took it out and replaced with a new one, but the actual light bulb holder bottom light (the one thats meant to be on all the time) is covered in rust and doesn't work no matter what bulb goes in it. does anyone know where i can buy them, or any ideas on how to fix it? its a 2003 1.4 dynamique, thanks

As above, could try cleaning the rust off see if it helps but id just get a new holder.

disconnect the holder and all bulbs, use vinegar on the rusted areas, works a treat. wash it after

As above, although "the one that's meant to be on all the time" ? There isn't one on Clio's?
