Rear lights

Quick question and probably a silly one but oh well.....

Do mk2 ph2 rear lights fit straight onto the mk2 ph1?

I want to change mine as the ph2 ones look a lot nicer than my originals

They fit straight over, but you'll need to do some re-wiring for them to work properly. Theres a guide written up somewhere.

Totally agree and the re-wiring doesn't seem that awkward either if willing to take the time so it's got to be done me thinks
