Rear projection TVs

Has anyone got any experience or any advice on what to look out for with these TVs?


I was considering buying one from Argos or Currys as they are in around £500 for quite a large screen and money is tight after buying the apartment. Should be perfect for the world cup matches next month. Plus ill be using it for the Xbox 360 etc.

Plus as HD TV isnt really mainstream yet i should be able to get a couple of years out of it.

i have never liked rear projection tv's
they have loads of problems and the picture tends to be not very good unless you get one of the very latest dlp ones

It's worth getting an HDTV now though.. Sky HD has launched and starts broadcasting on the 22nd.. so everything should follow. And, you have an xbox.. which is HD
