rear seat bracket

Am I right in thinking there should be a bolt through this bracket - looks to have had the head cut off?

There should be yes, and there is no normally the metal bar that runs behind the rear seats above it also.

Looks like a bodged attempted at somone trying to remove the rear seats.

Thanks - I have the metal bar, it's just not fitted in that pic, as I was swapping the rear seat over. Off to get a bolt now...!
