rear seats removal

am thinking of doing this as there is only ever me in the car and dont really take anyone out in the back . does it make much difference as regards to weight .

the rear seats on their own dont really weight all that much.. we took the seats out my mates cup last weekend, and the biggest difference was the fronts, they are heavy!! lol

Seat bases weigh f**k all they're only covered foam after all. The seat backs are a reasonable weight (Actually you've got a cup so no split folding and no headrests so the back doesnt weigh much either). Give it a go takes less than 10 mins then decide for yourself.

i take mine out if im going for a blast only takes 10 minz, infact can probably do it in 5 if you try! because the 1.2 16v has less power and ive got the dynamique seats am i right in thinking it would make a bigger difference on a lowered power car than it would on a 2.0?


but yeah never knew my standard exhaust could sound so good, the noise from the exhaust when you hit the limiter is brilliant

Just take out the passenger seat, easily ways more than the rears and have a 3 seater.
