Rear seats removed info needed

hi, i have recently removed my rear seats as stripping the car, a friend of mine has said that i need to put that i have stripped the car on the log book. is this true ??

Stripping most of the car, yes tell the insurer. If you have just taken the rear seat out that would be ok.
