Rear Shock

Just had my 172 serviced and dealer has reported that rear drivers side shock is leaking and needs replacing! Don't want to pay dealer prices for a new one so does anyone know where to get genuine Renault shocks from at a decent price??

Also is it an easy job to replace a rear shock on the 172??

Had to have one of mine replaced.

They are about £40 from the stealers.

Fitting couldn't be easier. One bolt in the boot, another by the rear wheel. You can't miss it. You don't even have to remove the wheel if you can get under the car (still need to jack it up though).

we do them for 40 quid + vat...genuine renault.
easy to fit.

Mine's gone too - I'm having a nightmare trying to get Renault to change it under warranty though!
