Rear Shocks

Noticed one of my rear shocks leaking yeaterday, can you only get the new shocks from Renault directly or can you pick them up at any part shops??

I think you can only get them from renault atm, they are about £50 a corner. I have a full set of 172 cup shocks with nearly new h&r springs fitted if you are interested.

shocks have done 10-12k miles and the springs less than half of that.

Mine failed a week back, I was going to get renualt ones but at £50 each I shopped around, I got two bilstein dampers for £60 from euro car parts. Mine isn't a 172 but I can't see there being a difference in the two?

When you say full set, do you mean just rear or all four corners? And how much would you be selling them for?

2 front and 2 rear with 4 h&r springs, i'd be looking in the region of £150

Its 30mm front and 40mm at the back.
