Rear speakers in my 197

Ok so i've had the 197 a week now bar it being in the spray shop for the last 3 days ! So had it in theory for 4 days, Upgraded the headunit today but i've noticed as with the standard headunit i've got no sound in the rear of the car ? I bought it used so have to deal with the car i got but were extra speakers an option ? Or was the chap who bought it new a complete skin flint ??

If this is the case i.e no rear speakers should i be able to fit some in behind the rear grills and would the wiring plug possibly be there ? (I would check but im in work until 11pm) If it is then i'll bang some in but if not im assuming i'll have to take the car to an audio center and get it all wired up !

They didn't have them, and they weren't an option. I paid the dealer to fit me some before I picked the car up.

The wiring is there, so you can do it easily.

Yeah don't think 197's came with them. I've got a feeling if you opted for recaros then you don't get rear speakers.

All the wiring is there so you just need to get a set.

the wiring plugs are there for them same with mine as it wouldn't of had the stereo upgrades on the options list, the extra speakers were and option believe it or not,

standard is a 2x15w radio, the options are 4x15w, 4x15w with mp3, 4x40w with 6cd changer.

Pioneer do make a component set expecially for the mk3 clio, around £60-70, but any 5 1/4 speaker will fit no problem, its the plug in adapter too in the back

Sorry to be a plank Russ but i aint no good with speaker sizes, What size are the rears in CM as im just browsing Halfrauds now at work and they list in CM

13cm approx IIRC, 2.4 cm in each inch!!
