Rear torsion bar

I have a Mk1, Ph 3 which i recently got lowering springs for (35mm,) now i'm having problems finding anyone who can lower the rear torsion bar. Not even any of my local Renault garages will do it! I live near Bath if anyone knows of anywhere I could go? :S

If not, my boyf's dad is a mechanic so does anyone know how hard a job it is?

Well it depends how stubborn the torsion bar is, some can be an arse hole some are easier! here's how you do it, used this guide to do mine works a treat!

make sure you give the ends a good pasting with WD40 a few days before you do it....it will be soooo much easier!
