Rear wheel cylinder - brake pipe nut size?

Replacing a leaky rear wheel cylinder on my 2005 1.2. What size is the nut that secures the brake pipe into the back of the wheel cylinder? I heard it was an 11mm, just checking.

11mm yes, well on Sports anyway, should be the same size

Just make sure you use a flare nut spanner otherwise you run the risk of it rounding, been there done that!

As above, and seen in my pic, don't use a normal one

A drop or two of wd40 or similar will help if everything's covered in dirt too

You can get a 11mm flare spanner from Halfords for around £7.
