Rear wiper randomly coming on.

Occasionally I can just be driving along, but notice that my rear windscreen wiper is on..
After sitting, confused, looking at my stalk controls, I'm still none the wiser as, as far as the stalk controls go there is no reason as to why it should be on.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why my rear wiper likes to have a spazz... And how to stop it having a little spazz..

its french for something, can't remember what though - its pretty much the processor of the car kinda thing isn't it? i think :S lol

uch is bucks, £250 last time i priced one up i fink, then theres labour time for fitting it etc

Pull the wiring plug to the rear wiper motor, or remove the fuse for it (if it has a fuse solely for it).
