Rear wiper

Everytime i put my clio into reverse the rear wiper comes on,anybody know why this happens? was thinking that a fuse or something might be out

There made that way. If your front wipers are on it must be raining...... so when you put the car into reverse it clears the direction youll be travelling in.

It happens when you have your wipers set to auto (1st position) or above I think.

its called smart wipe - nice of the dealer to tell you about it!!

But the front wipers are not on and it still happens,all the wipers are set to off,so the rear one comes on when its raining or not,plus its a pain in the arse cause my number plate is on my back window for the moment!
