Already posted in my build thread

But thought it might interest a few people who arent subscribed to that as well.

50/50 shot to keep the detailers happy:

They are NOT the trophy ones, they are aftermarket trendlines, I was looking for a trophy set for our other car when I found these which I think suits this car better in terms of leather is a bit slidey so decided to get these ones for the turbo instead and will still get some trophy ones for the mrs RS2 172 which is more of a daily where as this is more of a trackday car.

Should look quite cool when they both have them though, being slightyl different takes on the same theme, as are the cars themselves, ie both are road and track but the RS2 one is more road focussed and the turbo one more track focussed.

Rather sadly ive even sorted out matching wet and dry wheels for the two of them as well, lol

Thanks lads. They do hold you fairly well considering they aren't a full on bucket seat.
Dont quite match the comfort of the standard leather sofas I took out though.

i think their a good compromise tbh, hold you a bit better than std seats and still comfortable enough for day to day driving and i surpose in your case aswell, long drives to track days. plus they look epic!

I thought they were terrible when I done a trackday at knockhill I was sliding about in them but they do look good.

I hate Trendlines with a passion!!! Yeah, they look good but for everything else, they're terrible.

Its a bad day when the OE seats are more supportive.

i see people moaning they dont support you, get some harnesses in and you wont be going anywhere ;)
i loved the seats. and were perfectly comfortable on the 12 hour drive to the Nurburgring. =]

Are people saying you slide around taking about the leather ones or fabric ones?

Makes a noticeable difference.

I found the trendlines were worse than the standard seats at holding you in place. Being a big bloke I was all over the place on the one track session I did in them.

these are originally from Accord Type R, I had them in mine car too. They are much better then the standard but without any leg support. I then changed them for Integra Type R DC5 ones, they are much better, still comfy and leg support is from another world. When you decide to change, but don't want buckets look at the DC5 ones, they come on ebay from time to time.

They are green, therefore accord ones.

They aren't in anyway even slightly green.

The centre is black mesh over light grey.

Must be my camera, your eyes or your computer at fault if you think they look green cause they certainly are not in real life mate.

The standard seats are better.

You think that a less prominent bolster made of leather is better at controlling lateral movement of the occupants than a more prominent one made of fabric?

We'll just agree to differ then mate, cause in 20 years of trackdays in probably over a hundred different seats, that hasnt been my experience at all.

You would have thought when someone who has just installed the seats is telling them what colour they are that its going to be more definitive than how they think it looks on their screen, lol

Dont be silly, even your picture proves nothing.
