I would recommend Fuchs pro race. I've noticed that in mine it's has helped reduce the amount that it is using since changing to it. Not that it should be using oil anyway but that's another issue though.

Renault recommend 5w40 fully stynthetic.

Try using the search function mate, it's covered in hear nearly daily.

IMO any good quality 5w40 will be fine, or something like the Fush if you really like your engine, as it's ether based and the next step up in oil terms - very good oil

I got the gulf one from Opie for the change I did a couple of weeks ago for my 182, so far I'm very happy with it. Very good price too.

What's wrong with just Renault OE oil? What do you gain from using a different oil? Out of curiosity :)

Basically it's the quality of the synthetics and raw chemicals used, and probably cheaper than Renault. Like with everything, you get different qualities.

the reno ELF gear is decent stuff, had it in my cup countless times and also not badly priced tbf, have got some Valvoline Synpower for its next change

Elf oil is fine, as is Mobile 1, castrol, Shell etc etc - any named oil will do roughly the same job, but oils like The Fush meationed are ether based and are a higher quality again, so cost more but offer more protection

Car booked in at BTM for a service so I will be happy with whatever they use tbh
