Looking for a better alarm system after been told today that 2 chavs were caught trying to break into my car with screwdrivers near christmas (Only just told me today ) and coincidentally my alarm went off last night so hopefully it should have scared them off for now but i want a bit more protection as the current alarm doesnt have any extras added and i dont think i can to this unit so i want something that is capable of proximity sensors.

Luckily, theres no damage to the car so looks like the person who saw them caught them at a good time or it ould have been a hefty bill coming my way. Dont understand what they were after as my headunit is a flip screen but part of the facia comes off so they wouldnt be able to use it as it is always brought into the house.

What recomendations have people got for a good alarm as at the moment im looking at the lcd screen ones which can have proximity sensors attached etc (Viper)

had a clifford 650 concept on my valver, am debateing if i should get it on the 182 aswell, i had no problems with that, so would recommend it, it had proximity sensors and you could set the sensativity well easy so it bleeps when sum one gets near it, and you can allways have add ons such as intelli-start.
