would you buy a 4K one yet?
I have a 50" Panasonic and love it.
It's a 3d plasma.
I am looking for a new TV currently... Quite like the look of this one:

I'm hanging on in the hope that it might come down in some black friday deals - but we'll see.
I can get 5-8% off through work (NHS/DHL discounts) but it's a bit of a faff to get it, hence hoping for some reductions!Same, but I am doubtful... If I knew somebody who worked for Currys / PC World you could get 10% discount, when I was younger a couple of mates worked there.

Yes, that's why it's a bit of a faff for the sake of £20! actually - fcuk it - i'm going to get it tonight! I'll let you know how it is!My partner works for the NHS, don't you have to buy a pre-loaded gift card to get the discount?
What time shall I come over for movies?Yes, that's why it's a bit of a faff for the sake of £20! actually - fcuk it - i'm going to get it tonight! I'll let you know how it is!

No mention of your budget? Is 50" the limit?
I have the 55W829. Awesome TV. I spent days walking around Richer Sounds, John Lewis and Currys comparing everything in my price range. The Sony did it for me.
I've had mine since July (when they were £1150), but they can be picked up for ~£900 now.
Here's a vid I did, it's not great, but gives an idea of the quality hopefully.

Just make sure you look at the refresh rate. You want it as high as possible
@Tunst buy that tomorrow.http://www.johnlewis.com/store/sams...es/p1299053?navAction=jump&_requestid=2797782
I've heard this TV will be £699 tomorrow for Black Friday.
It's on that hacked list...That's my plan if the offer is true!
Sure it can go up to 80hz?As long as it's 60hz you'll be fine! Nothing runs higher than that!
Sure it can go up to 80hz?
I know PC monitors can do 80hz, not sure with T.V's but shouldn't it be the same concept?I've never seen anything above 60.

Lol, sadly not.Panasonic plasma or go home.
Lol, sadly not.
No details but I'm led to believe we'll have some good offers on tomorrow www.ao.com . Might be worth a look if any of you are interested (no benefit to me I must add, just trying to be helpful).

Was going to ask where you work when you said that but saw. I didn't realise AO were now TV specialists.
Panasonic plasma or nothing.
