Recommend me....

So I'm in the market for a new laptop. This will be used to house all my music as I want to clear out all the CDs I have and get them all digital. Editing and storing photos and general browsing. Also needs to have word etc on it. I want it to just run quickly and smoothly as my current one takes an age to do anything.

I've had a look about and seen some now come with SSD and from a quick google these will run much quicker.

Budget, let's say £500.

If you're not buying mac aren't laptops much of muchness these days. Big gigs and decent processor.

Keeping the laptop clean and tidy matters more than anything imo. My older laptop works better than most newer ones I know of because the folk don't have a clue.

This is what i got, and i use it for uni stuff. Runs photoshop, solidworks, Keyshot, 3ds maxx etc fairly well so should be more than suitable! It's the best laptop for the money specs wise really! Seems to have gone up in price now though! Mine only cost me £400 brand new! Maybe shop around?
