Recommend monitor

Can anyone recommend me a good monitor?

The criteria is:

Good colouring is the most important part. Would like to mess with photoshopping so something good at colour matching. Would not be used for gaming but maybe the very odd vid.

Between 20 - 22'' size.

£160 maximum price.

Cheers

That one looks good to me, Ive been browing ebuyer all morning thinking of building a new pc.

Samsung screens have allways been good for me and i think they look better, Other than Acer screens which i currently have than others in the market.

20-22" screens can be had a lot cheaper though if you can justify going with a not well known brand and useing the money on something else, Maybe a better graphics card?

Iv been studying Iiyama for about a week now Darren and was all set on one till i realised theres about 9 different types of 22'' all getting different reviews lol

BenQ E2200HD gets a fantastic write up here. Anyone have experience with this?

Quite a lot of folk also rave about Samsung but its gets mixed reviews with the experts

Andy - I've only used BenQ ones at work a few years ago when 15" TFTs were common. They've been fine in the past, but I've not experienced any of their more modern kit so I couldn't really comment. :)

One thing worth noting is that most of the cheaper screens are a "TN" panel, which cannot reproduce all colours accurately according to some people in the processing sections of some photography forums. I have one (TN) and can't say that I have any problems, but apparently it is a big issue for some.

My Acer gives poor washed out colours.

I also have Dell and BenQ and are both excellent (run 4 computers!)
