Recommend Speakers to go with.....

  Civic Type-R
Well the standard clio connectors are a yellow box which clips into the back of the speakers so your gonna have to mod this whatever after market speakers you get :) The two speakers wires just pull out the back with a bit of force. They are both small connectors so you just simply cut one off and crimp a large one one the end and connect it up. Took me like 10mins to take the old ones out and re-fit the new ones :)

Thnaks Stu - I will look into them a bit more now. I'm definitely only looking for coaxial speakers though!

Infinity Kappa 52.7i co-ax are a straight swap with your original speakers, they are a very shallow speaker, so do not hit the plastic cover behind the front door card, as for the wiring either cut off the original renault connector and join straight to the crossover box or buy the adapter to fit the renault plug then join that to the crossover box, you should be able to find the speakers on ebay brand new for about £60 per pair.

im also looking at upgrading my std speakers i want something abit bassy and with alot more depth ! i did have infinity 6x9's in my old car and they sounded the nuts but dont wanna mod the parcel shelf. Anyone got any ideas. was thinking of keeping the standard speakers and getting a small powered 10" sub if not.
