Recording 2 programs at the same time with Sky+

Keep seeing adverts on msn for Sky about recording 2 programs at the same time on Sky+. But our Sky+ will only record one thing while watching another...?

What does yours do?

if recording two you cant watch another channel as well.

Same, if you want to record 2 you must be watching one of them.

You can however watch something you have recorded whilst recording 2 progs.
If you dont want to watch either prog then watch something in your planner.

Not strictly true....

A given frequency will have many channels multiplexed onto it, technically the box could record mutliple channels on the frequency you are tuned to....

As said above, can record two channels and watch something you have previously recorded, but cannot watch another channel at the same time as recording two.

Yep, there's a freeview box that can do this. But Sky+ doesn't have this function

One of the advantages of V+ over sky+, and double the capacity, and cheaper, and hd ready and when they release the next software update will be a much much better product.
