Recording Video streams

Hi guys

Is there any way I would be able to save streaming videos to my computer? I have done a bit of searching but in all honesty dont really understand it lol

Im trying to download songs from the Rock in Rio concert from the AOL website

Anything i can do??

Google a prog called HIDOWNLOAD..im pretty sure this can do it along with URL helper which finds the link of the stream to download.

Another program called WMrecorder also does the job well. It pulls the films out of streetfire quite nicely.

You can only record the WMplayer clips as far as I know. Just above the video you have the option to switch.

P.S. Most sites you can find the video by looking through the source code. I.e. search for the "embed" code and the WMV or AVI file is close by. You then open the URL in WM player and can save the video directly.

Streetfire have beaten this though so you have to use WMrecorder.
