If you are referring to about 16.00 hrs yesterday then that was probably me.

Spotted at last but but if I realised this was an ageist site, "being driven by an old couple", then I wish I hadn't been spotted. :dapprove:

Just to put the record straight:

How was I driving too slow when you pulled over to let me past. Worried about an old couple driving behind you. :)

Didn't see you for a while except in my mirror. :)

Anyway the traffic was very heavy and neither of us could go any faster.

Nice car also. I quite like the yellow colour of the 197 F1 but my wife prefers the red of the Trophy. She only bought it as she liked the colour. :D

Welcome to the site - don't worry about being on the other side of the hill, there's a few on here near their pensions ;) lol :rasp:

And good stuff about the missus only getting it for the colour - I'd 'just pop in' to the ferrari garage next time you're car shopping and see what you can come out with :clown: :D

We went up to Canary Wharf nearly 3 years ago when it was first launched. We were looking to see what car we should buy next. We walked all around and there was nothing she was that keen on until she walked into the Renault tent. As soon as she saw the car she said 'that's the one I want' even before she knew what it was.

When I saw the spec I laughed and said are you sure. Her reply was 'is it nippy', 'will it be easy for me to overtake other cars'. I said probably ;) . She then sat in it and that was that.

We went home found one in a garage, I had a test drive and after the test drive  :quiet: she said 'it is nippy' so we ordered one.

I have never had so much fun and only drive on motorways if I have too, I much prefer cross country runs.

have you been on track @ bedford autodrome?

Officially car is wife's and she won't let me near a track yet. ;) She still thinks of it as new.

No offence taken on the age, especially as I was returning from a pre-retirement seminar as I have just been made redundant. Taking early retirement or joining the 'third age' as it is now called. At least I will be able to drive the car during the week now not just on weekends. :)

We went to Donnington to the racing in September and I saw the new RenaultSport there and quite liked it especially from the back. My wife didn't (not red ;) )

Another good thing is I can go back to S Wales more. Great roads there especially Mid and North. I now go there via A272, Petworth and Petersfield to A34 and up to M4. Much more fun than M25, M3 and M4. :D
