Rejecting the LED Boot Light?

After fitting an LED festoon bulb into my interior boot light the car thinks the boot door is constantly open, anyone ever run into this problem before?

Ive read loads of topics on this and used 2 types of LED bulbs from links given on here and they all throw up the "door open" light on the dash and prevent the double flash when locking the doors.

Works fine with a regular filament bulb, is this a resistance based problem or just dodgy electrics as usual?

This happened on my brothers car, kept setting the alarm off too, in the end he went back to halogen lol

ahh glad im not the only one haha, bloody temperamental things! ill just have to see if i can get a brighter normal bulb if no one has an answer
