Releasing handbrake and footbrake squeek

Experiencing these sounds for some reason.

Anyone know what it could be?

Basically when i release the hand brake, i can hear the back fo the car squeak, and same for when i release the footbrake.

According to my Mother anyway. Have you paid for your handbrake?

my dynamique used to do this sometimes. Guessing it just needs lubricating in the drum or something.

mynes done this everyday since i bought it, it also makes a deep creaking noise when i get out lol. Although since iv had it lowered its not done that. The handbrake and footbrake creaking still happens though. Sounds like the cables gona snap or the breaks are gonna give way. I s**t myself lol

So best bet is dust collecting in the drums?..

Could i just get a garage to clean it for me? And that'll do the job?

Rear brake shoes feked, mine did exactly the same thing, I was expecting them to just need cleaning but they were shot.
New ones were cheap and a mate of mine fitted them for £20.

Only had them changed a few months back tho.

buy a can of brake cleaner from halfords, take the rear drums off, dry paintbrush to de dust then soak everything in brake cleaner, re assemble.
