Remake or Sequel

If it was possible to remake or create a sequel to a game of your choice from yesteryear for the next generation consoles, which game would you choose?

I think I'd be tempted to choose Sensible World of Soccer. I'd probably hate it now, but if there's a chance I'd get even half the enjoyment I got from it back in the Amiga days, I'd be all for it.

Wasteland (2) on PC only. Get it in DX11 and a minimum resolution support 1920x1200. Strictly no thumb-twiddlers allowed.

Sensible soccer, the SNES version. Had the option of an easier dribbling system, had some epic games on that with my brother. Scoring from the half-way line (Beckham position) was do-able. Never played a game where you could acheive so much curl.

As a close second, shadowrun, SNES again. Blade-runner stylee.

Loved Shadowrun. I had to use Action Replay codes to complete the f*cker, though.

It got very difficult near the end.

I remember the start, go into the alley, pick up the collar the dog drops. LOL. Awesome game.

Kind of. It was basically a direct port. So hardly an update or remake. It also had the same players from 1997. Rubbish. I've still got it on my XB360. Played it twice.

Destruction Derby was awesome! HD version of that aswell. TBH both road rash and destruction derby could be XBLA games like they did with teenage mutant ninja turtles from mega drive. If they made brand new versions they would just mess then up with all added features.

Id choose sniper elite off the PS2, was such a good game!! Me and my mate must have spent so many hours playing that game, we completed it about 4-5 times over the years lol...still play it now occasionally actually :approve:

It would still have to have the opera music in it though. Playing through surround sound as you activate the automated docking sequence into the Lave space station.....

Some good choices here!

For me:

General Chaos - old Mega Drive game, in which you have a small squad vs another on a small map, was awesome!

Syndicate - apparently a new one is on the way too!

Micro Machines - a high res old 2d version, preferably the "millitary" iteration
