Remap for my tin top 172

So I'm going to be running a fairly standard engine set up. Just exhaust, air filter, matched inlets.

shall I just get an rs tuner map or get it maple by someone. If somewhere in Kent can I go?

I had the same mods and got a re-map done at k-tec, probably one of the best mods I did to the car before going for what I have now. The map made it a bit quicker and had a raised rev limit.

Depends who does the custom map and how long they have to do it, the Rs Tuner is a pretty good match for your spec but wont be perfect, so if every bhp counts a custom map would be better.

There about the same price aren't they ? By the time you buy a Rs turner and then down load map to a performance re-map

half the price (more than) if you sell the RS tuner on, or buy 2nd hand one, map car and then sell it

I think most people end up spending 200 on rstuner plus license plus map then get about 120 back or so.
