remap ?

ive had my 182 cup a few weeks now but only really gad the chance to open it up today and it limited at about 7900 rpm and my friend who used to own a 172 said it definatly remaped as his limited at 7200 does this sound right as i dont no what they rev to normally as this is my first clio sport :S

As for that. It does sound like it's been remapped. You been in another 182 before?

If the rev limiter is aboove 7200 in 1st, 2nd & 3rd or over 7000 in 4th and 5th then its been remaped.

I know you shouldn't do it but check for a cold limiter too, should be 6700 for <75 degrees centigade coolant temperatures.
