Remapping

  RS 182
If, after I've had my 182 for a few months I fancy doing it, is it really worth it for 10 bhp?
How much would it cost & has anyone tried this bloke in Crawley?

I've heard that the main benefits are increased throttle response and that with reasonable driving the mpg can actually improve.
Thanks in advance
:)

  Mondeo TXS Bardge.
i've heard a remap is only good for about 3-5 bhp., and the better mpg is down to higher torque at lower revs, but if you nail it you use more fuel.
now if you had a derv a remap would get you 25-50 more bhp.

  182
ask rs tuning bloke from leeds he dose cs group buys he will rr before map and after to show gains search i'm sure there will be lots to read about rs tuning

  Scirocco 2.0 tsi
Alot of less powerful cars are short geared to make acceleration better, my Yaris T sport is, which means when your sitting at 70 or whatever your still at high revs, A lad i know has a 172 and he drives it enthusiastically alot like i do with my yaris, his mpg is equal to mine, yet mine has about 65bhp less.

Remaps also make the ECU work more efficiently meaning that it takes less fuel to do some things.
