Remote C/L and Alarm on 16v

Hi all,



I have a 93 1.8 16v. The remote c/l and alarm dont work. The key fob light up when i press the button.

The interior light pod is missing...am i right in thinking the receiver is up there?

What chance is there of getting it working again?

Yep the receiver is up in the light pod. Shouldnt be too much hassle to get it fixed, IIRC you need any old unit as the decoding of the code isnt done in the receiver bit, someone should be able to clarify that.
