remote control adapters..

hey, just bought a new headunit and im trying to run one of the remote adapters in my Mk2 ph1 1.2 but i cant seem to find where the 6 pin yellow connector plugs into. The instructions say im looking for a yellow plug, but the only one i find is an 8 pin, and the original remote control cable is left unconnected...

is my car weird..? lol

seriously though, any ideas of where it plugs into, its one of the InCarTec adapters from caraudiodirect...

As thumper says you need two bits for it.

It plugs into a red cable that was previously in the back of the display, the other end goes to your hu.

yip, both parts.

The problem is, the adapter has a YELLOW square mini DIN connector, its not a flat connector like the one on the screen...
