Remote turn on wire

I am trying to install an amp to my standard HU, I have the adaptor so that I can connect it to the stereo, but were does the remote turn on wire go? Any help would be appreciated thanks

or do i wire it into the ignition wire?

yeah wire it to the head unit switched +ve

stick a 1A fuse as close to the head unit as possible
