My washer jets are fooked so need to replace as they leak badly.

I've heard you need the bumper off for this, how easy is it to do and is there a guide anywhere?

there is a 10mm screw under each arch also will gold looking clips (one each side)

2 under the bottom over the bumper near your plastic engine guard.

you will also need to undo the four or so arch liner screws.

there might also be two where the top grille fixes on.

you will then need to start at each side and pull the bumper downwards and out as there are locating slots to tie wing to bumper. you will probably have to use more force than u wud want to but give it good pull

its pretty straight fwd i just plodded along till i got there.

The bumper doesn't need to come off. The washers are £7 odd each from Renault.

When I fitted the washers to my 1.2 all I did was release the bumper from it's fixing in the wheel arch. I then removed the top fastening of the grill on the slam panel and the bumper simply popped out of the wing and then pulling it forward I had enough room to fit them. This I repeated on both sides and saved having to fully remove the bumper.

Try giving the washers a firm tap while someone operates them. There's a little ball on a spring inside it and if you can free it, it should stop leaking.

Chances are it won't work but it's worth a go - some people have the leak and it just goes away.

Edit: I discovered the spring when I sawed a new one in half to get the ball off the top to replace one that flew off - don't bother trying to replace the big ball, fit a whole washer if you have that problem!

Imo, if your going that far you might as well take the bottom bolts out and take the bumper out.

Its not that difficult or time consuming, had to swap my xenons out for my mot a few weeks ago could take it off in about 15 minutes now. Biggest pain in the ass is jacking the thing up and getting it on axel stands.

why would i need to put it on stands?

You'll most probably need to get it up to get the bolts out the end of the bumper as there in the wheel arches. So you need to wheels to drop so you can pull the arch liner back to get to the bolts.
