Removal of polish from black plastic?

  Clive the Clio no. 2
I was cleaning my car last night and the missus said she would help,

so i told her to clean the black plastic and she proceeded to pick up the SRP and start cleaning.

I didnt realise what she was using until it started drying white!

So i now have white marks on the windscreen black seal, the rear bumper strips, and around the foglights!

so does anyone have any solutions to remove the white stain?

ive not tried it, but ive been told by valeters/detailers that a pencil eraser is fantastic for it

or ust AG bumper care or equivilent

all purpose cleaner or the plastic cleaner rich said about.

never let women wash cars unless they have had thorough tutorials and lessons on how to do it.

That's the only thing i've tried that works and actually removes the white marks . All the products for black plastic just mask the marks and they reappear over time .

rubber works great but ive only ever tried it on little spots of polish marks
only other thing i could think of is some apc and a nailbrush
then you just have to get some good trim dressing

Use a Magic Eraser - kinda like a cross between a sponge and pencil rubber you can get a pack of 5 or 6 for about £1 out of Aldi/Instore etc all the cheap shops stock em or order from JML but they are a bit more expensive.

I have found nothing to match these and they are good for scuffs on interior plastics too

I've not found a good way to remove it! If it's been on for a long time, your pumped really!! You'll never get it perfect.

Unfortunately AG Vinyl And Rubber/Tyre Dressing and Bumper Care Gel will all just hide it till they wear/wash off.

I'll try a rubber soon and see if it works lol, neighbours will think I have gone mad...

fast glass does work really well, had some polish on plastic that had been there quite a while, tried all the above, minus the rubber, and it came off relatively easily
