removal of RS200 centre silencer

Does removing the centre silencer on an RS200 exhaust create an increased flat spot?

I fancy increasing the noise slightly without removing the whole system. Removing the centre silencer and welding a pipe into the space seems like the cheapest option.

Has anyone got any experience doing this?

Yes it creates a flatspot. Some live with it, some get it mapped out as best they can.
