Removed throttle now won't start

  delta evo1, 182
Hi all again. Yet another problem my fault I believe. Car was running rough so changed plugs and leads. So removed inlet while there I thought I'd clean throttle so I did put all back together now no throttle. I've checked all connections and had inlet on off about 6 times to see what I've done. I have the electrical warming light on dash and no throttle. I did find that if you clean throttle not to move flap as is stepper motor and will need resetting I hope I'm wrong. All help needed thanks

Yeah plugged in as I have rain inlet on and off lots now to check for all sorts lose connections air leak etc. I think Fred says if you move flaP in throttle will need clip. To program throttle stops oPen and closed. But I'm hoping this is not the case. All I done was clean with carb cleaner moved flap in throttle to get all clean now no throttle and high idle and many dash lights.

Hi all I've checked all wiring nothing as was problem before non starter/ car starts but has no throttle I've got the code on a mac obd as throttle pedal postion sensor switch a. So I guess pedal or throttle. It was fine before I changed plugs and leads. But I did clean throttle and actuate move throttle flap can this cause the fault all help needed as car less again. All help welcome and vey much needed.

If it was fine before then you've done something to either the plug, wiring or the TB itself and it needs checking thoroughly #statingtheobvious

You did unplug the TB before your started to clean it yes?

I am removing my inlet soon to replace plugs again and this time i was planning to clean my throttle body and flap,my question is can it be done if you unplug TB before starting to clean it ? or will i have problems like op above

Yes I had disconnected a few times(and had no issues) not forced off but correctly removed checked all wiring doing it again as I type. Worked fine before just developed a mis fire so changed plugs and leads. I wasn't going clean as wasn't that dirty and the short time ive had the car I no it can be stupid to clean do things which are not needed.

I bolt all inlet on plug in the 2 sensors on inlet either side and plug in the 1 plug for throttle now no good and coil Pack is plugged in.

All I get is electrICal warning light and no throttle pedal.

Would actuating the throttle done anything.

Not of you did it gently and with it disconnected from the loom.

It needs plugging in an go from there I'm afraid now chap.

MAP sensor plugged in?

I had this problem tonight on a car I've had the engine out of, turned out to be a connection that had been apart wasn't quite back together properly. Check fuses, one of them is for the throttle pedal

Has been plugged in but not on clip cleared codes but fault still present. I have voltage at plug etc. I checked all fuses in engine bay near relays and the ones in the car all good. And yes was unplugged and actuated. Thanks all for help

Okay backup... What codes have you cleared? Also, did you look at the "context" whichever the fault occurred?

It's fixed good news. I was working on my own so pal came round I could hear throttle trying to work so removed the internal valve Then tried and worked so replaced throttle plate all sweet now. Back to the job at hand a misfire changed plugs and leads no good. It seems it's the injector as only to are spraying when cranked and one is a little bust connector coming away from injector. Thanks all I'll try not to break any thing else got to say love the car when it's working
