Removing a clio Mk1 headlining

  williamsclio.co.uk/forum

Has anyone ever removed a Mk1 clio headlining in once piece without ripping it or creasing it ????

Going to be attempting mine this weekend so if anyone has any tips, that would be great.

yea mate its a bit trickey as theres like a black gunk adhesive that bonds it to the roof skin. You need to undo the visors, and unclip all the surround ceiling grab holders and clips and curtousy light etc. Then slowly work it off, attempting to break the bond of the adhesive. Then keep one side of it straight as you move down the car, or ideally have another person hold one end of it. When its off make sure to whack some sound deadening up there.
