removing adjusters

  Breaking 172 NV676
Went to get the adjusters taken out the back of the car today and was told they couldn't do it as the springs wont sit on the flat plate and that it will just slip out.

Been fed some bulls**t mate. Also you don't need to pay someone to do that, possibly the easiest job you can do on a clio, providing you have axle stands. Which if you don't it will still probably be cheaper to buy a set than what a garage will charage you to do it.

put rear up on axle stands via jack points, put your jack on rear beam to take the weight, remove the 2 bolts holding shocks in then lower the rear beam with jack till springs fall out, remove adjusters, pop springs back in, rebolt the shocks. Jobs a good un.
