Removing Airbox on Mk 3's

  RB 182
As the title says really, im looking at adding an induction kit to my mk3 but cant seem to find anything on removing the standard air box... If anyone has done it or knows of any guides could you please share? When i was playing around with it there seems to be something holding it from underneath?
Thanks

I'm assuming you've worked out how to disconnect all the plastic hosing etc and it is just the box you are trying to remove? It's held in just with plastic bits that slot into some rubbery holes, very similar to how your engine cover trim thing (if you have one) is held on, just needs tugging out, I recommend removing the battery and the plastic surround for the battery, makes the job 10x easier :)

Hope this helps?

you can get away with just removing the Batt and leaving the tray in place but its a hell of a lot easier to remove it all
