Removing an drive shaft help please

Right guys just abouts to replace the n/s drive shaft as I pull it out will it drop oil out of there too

Once you remove the 3 bolts holding the gaitor thing on and pull it out then yes it will loose fluid. Best to drain the gearbox and then replace with new fluid whilst your at it.

you could jack up the n/s as high as you can with the o/s still on the floor you will loose a little then and only need to top it up.

better to drain the old oil and replace with new.

That would still cause a massive loss.

Jack both sides of the car up and drain it all out.
