Removing Brake Light from Spoiler?

The brakelight has gone in my spoiler (Cup), I read some threads here saying just prize it out with a screwdriver wrapped in cloth...I tried this and no movement at all (didn't do it too much as didn't want to damage the spoiler!)

Anyone got any experience/advice for getting it out?

take the spoiler off, unplug it and then push it from behind with a pen through the hole for the wiring is what most do, i used a spatula wrapped in tissue lol
