Removing dash/clocks

  Clio 172 mk2
I want to remove the speedo/rpm clock console so I can take the bulb out of the emissions light.

Has anyone done this before...if so how do you go about it and is it easy?

Sounds like you damaged the circuitry.

I assume you have put the connectors in tight, and disconnected the battery when doing the job?

Buy a new display - I think Mattblack has some.
