removing dents yourself

Just wondered if its possible to remove very small dents and blemishes yourself at home. Is it?

I heard that magnets are used to pull them out, true? Basically can anything be done at home to smooth them out.

If they do use magnets, where can i get my hands on some? must be big ones i suppose in order to do the job. Just i got a slight blemish on the bonnet, nothing major and can live with it.

Just asking tho. Any help appreciated.

cheers, Phil

There is a product on the market that works on the same principle as a toilet plunger. It actually forms a vacuum and pulls dents out - dont know what its called ......possibly Car Dent puller outer !! Just a guess!! But ive definately read about one somewhere - and it was only about 15 notes.

Car Dent Puller - £9.99 including FREE UK Mainland delivery Repair Car Dents Easily and Quickly - Just £9.99 inc. p&p!

Remove unsightly dents from your car and save yourself £’s on expensive alternative methods. It’s so easy to use. Simply place the cup over the dent and click the handles shut. This will automatically create a suction, which will gently pull the dent out. In fact, this little gadget has improved suction.
When you have finished you just open the handles to release the vacuum and the Car Dent Puller will come away from the car’s body without damaging the paintwork. The Car Dent Puller is also extremely useful for carrying sheets of glass, mirrors, metal and suchlike. The suction will ensure a tight grip and there is a large handle for pulling and carrying comfort.

I live near Edinburgh and I have to tell you that most Scots want AUSTRALIA to win!! They reckon that since the last World Cup was won in 1966 by England, they have never heard the end of it, especially the sentence "They think its all over - it is now"!! and couldnt stand another England winning a World Cup and the ribbing that goes with it!

Alymac, Big Iain et al who do you want to win tomorrow?
