Removing Exhaust Baffles

Riiight,

My mate has a scorpion stainless system that i can have...Now the only prob is that it has a centre box.

What would be the procedure in clearing of its baffles? Dont do restrictions! lol

95% of scorpion systems brag the middle box really low, and so it hits the road on bumps if you have a low car.

I had a straight through centre section madeup at powerflow for £145, or you could get the centre section off a 1.2 clio, this is a straight through one, but i'm not sure how the diameter differs to that of teh scorpion system.

You can knock the baffles out wiht a specialist tool, such as a broomstick, but you will still get turbulance due to the expansion chamber being there.

Other option is to get a length of exhaust pipe from ATS or soemwhere, one they ahve taken off a car, or i can supply 0.5 and 1.0 mtr lengths of exhaust tubing (PM me), and you can cut out the exansion chamber and weld in the straight section, obvously this in'y goinh to give as smooth air flow as a straight through all in one piece thing, but will be better then an empty expansion chamber wiht gasses swirling about in
