Removing fuel pump to syphon petrol

I have my 182 sitting on the drive with £60 of petrol and need it in another car

when removing the pump how does it come out? Remove tubes and then twist and pull out?

I dont want to break the pump and have to buy a new one

Undo big plastic locking ring lift up pump and stick a hose down the side. Or drill a hole under the tank

Couldn't you just undo the feed to the engine and use the pump to pump it out..

Easier to get a battery and bridge the thick black and thick white cable IIRC.
